摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily obtain braking force by engine brake after accelerator pedal returning operation in a fuel injection control device in an engine provided with a fuel cut delay means for reducing torque level difference due to fuel cut. SOLUTION: In a case where conditions for executing fuel cut are satisfied without downshifting, fuel cut is executed after lapse of prescribed time (instant t5) after the conditions are satisfied (instant t3) as illustrated in the middle part of drawings. In a case where conditions for executing fuel cut are satisfied during downshifting, it is determined that the driver is demanding for quick deceleration, and time from (instant t3) when the conditions are satisfied till executing of fuel cut (instant t4) is shortened.
