<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make recording without making a user aware of the setting of a printer driver, and to replace and store a medium without causing a stain on the medium or a deterioration of the medium. <P>SOLUTION: Paper 20 is loaded on a paper feeding tray 3 of a paper loading part, and paper 21 is housed in a loaded state in a sub-paper-feeding tray unit 200 of a photo-deck unit 300 which is attached to the paper loading part. When a turning knob 305 is turned counterclockwise, the unit 200 is moved to a usable position; a photo-deck sensor 54 is put into an on-state; and a use state of the photo-deck unit 300 is detected. When the use of the photo-deck unit 300 is detected by the photo-deck sensor 54, a control means 100 performs control so that the paper 21 can be forcedly fed from the unit 200 without obtaining information on the length of the paper sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
