PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beacon signal transmitting method which effectively prevents beacon signals from colliding with each other when a plurality of master units are present. SOLUTION: The beacon signal transmitting method comprises procedures for: enabling the master units to transmit a broadcast of beacon signals [i] that contain master unit IDs, time information for temporally synchronizing master units with slave units, a list of the connected slave units, and master unit information that indicates an allocated communication time or the like for each slave unit; transmitting a broadcast of beacon signals at the beacon transmission timing of random time spacing Tbi [i] that is formed each time when the beacon signals are transmitted; to transmit non beacon signals when the master units receive other radio communications at the time when the master units transmit beacon signals; and transmitting beacon signals after the random time spacing Tbi elapses after the finish of the other radio communications.
