PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve capable of being axially miniaturized in comparison with a conventional one. SOLUTION: This control valve 10 is constituted in such manner that a rotary threaded cylinder 62 rotated and driven by a motor 12 is not linearly moved, and a linear shaft member 20 threadably mounted inside of the rotary threaded cylinder 62 is linearly moved, when a linear movement position of a valve element 40 is changed. Whereby the linear movement part can be miniaturized, and the control valve 10 can be axially miniaturized as a whole. Further as a stopper mechanism 65 mounted on this control valve 10 comprises a stopper gear 68 capable of being axially miniaturized in comparison with a screw guide 7, for the conventional screw guide 7, the control valve 10 can be axially miniaturized as a whole in this respect.
