摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fastening structure of a battery capable of surely providing a large compression force to a gasket without damaging a screw of a terminal even if a nut is firmly fastened. SOLUTION: In this terminal fastening structure, a rod 32 at the tip of the terminal 3 made of pure aluminum is inserted into a terminal hole 5a of a terminal cap 5 to project to the outside of a battery can 2; and a part between the terminal and the terminal hole is sealed by compressing and deforming the gasket 6 interlaid between the terminal hole 5a and the terminal 3 by screwing a nut 10 to a peripheral screw 32b of the rod 32 to fasten the nut. A cured film is formed on the surface of the screw 32b of the terminal made of pure aluminum by hard alumite treatment, and the thickness of the cured film is set in a range of 10-100μm, whereby the Vickers hardness of the surface of the screw 32b is adjusted to HV350-500.
