PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sodium-sulfur battery of which the production yield can be improved since damage to the bottom of a solid electrolyte tube can be greatly reduced at the time of the deformation process of a partition wall (safety tube) by applying internal pressure from the inside of the partition wall (safety tube). SOLUTION: A partition wall (safety tube) 8 is inserted in the solid electrolyte tube 4 so that contact parts 12, 14 of the solid electrolyte tube 4 and the partition wall (safety tube) 8 become annular.
