DIAGNOSING DEVICE OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE DRIVE CONTROLLING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose the operation of a system without giving incompatibility and discomfort to a passenger.

SOLUTION: The operation of the system is diagnosed by controlling the operation of a motor generator MG1 with a diagnosing current command value. Because the operation of the motor generator MG1 causes torque fluctuation to a drive shaft 26 to which wheels 32 are linked, a suppressing current command value for suppressing a change of a rotational speed of the drive shaft 26 is calculated and the operation of a motor generator MG2 is controlled, too, by the suppressing current command value. This structure makes the torque fluctuating component generated by operating the motor generator MG1 and the torque fluctuating component generated by operating the motor generator MG2 counteract to each other on the drive shaft 26 so that the torque fluctuation of the drive shaft 26 can be suppressed.
