PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read document data released by another person on WWW and also document data on any generation by saving the update of the generation requested by a user. SOLUTION: A document save processing section 11 acquires the document data from a WWW server 3 upon receiving a save request from a user terminal 4; adding generation information to the document data for save on a document management database 16, and saving information on user instructions on a database 15 for the user instructions. An update confirmation processing section 12 inquires about the update of the document data at the WWW server 3. When the update is present, the update is informed to only the user requesting an update notification through the information on user instructions. A browsing processing section 14 displays the listing of the generation of the corresponding document data when a browsing request from the user terminal 4 is found and displays the specified document data of the generation on the user terminal 4.
