PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of constantly preventing reduction in the following image printing quality, even if an operation for cutting printed belt-like printing paper is performed concurrently with the following image printing operation, when printing is performed, particularly, through the use of machine glazed paper formed by winding the belt-like printing paper, in the printer incorporated with orequipped with a cutter. SOLUTION: The printer allows the optimization of a correction command value by adjusting the correction command value, so that a prescribed relative relationship can be established between prescribed correction-command-value determination patterns for being printed, respectively, before and after the operation for cutting the printing paper, which is to be performed with the passage of an electric current through a paper feeding motor in accordance with the correction command value for controlling the amount of the passage of the electric current through the paper feeding motor for canceling out a change in the attitude of the printing paper or displacement thereof, which is caused by the printing paper cutting operation of the cutter.
