PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handling easiness and portability and to reduce a manufacturing cost of a container enclosing a material with its surface brought into contact with an object to be used during use. SOLUTION: In this container 10, a cylindrical body 20 provided with an expansive part 23 is mounted to a holding body 30 holding a lipstick 38, in the form of surrounding the lipstick 38 and holding body 30. The expansive part 23 is expanded/contracted to allow the cylindrical body 20 to slide along the holding body 30 between a first position in which the lipstick 38 is enclosed in the cylindrical body 20 and a second position in which the lipstick 38 is exposed to the outside of the cylindrical body 20.
