PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system and a graph preparation method for displaying many graphs based on data retrieved from a database stored in a server computer on a terminal device in a short time. SOLUTION: The graph display system has a database server 11, a data retrieval server 12 and a terminal device 13 which are mutually connected. A database 11a is stored in the database server 11. A data retrieval part 12a reads out data from the database 11a. A graph file is prepared in a graph data preparation part 12b on the basis of read-out data and is stored in a graph file storage part 12c. Therefore, a load of graph preparation is eliminated in the terminal device 13. Consequently, the terminal device 13 can read out, expand, and display the graph file as a graph in a short time.
