PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial turf akin to natural turf in terms of a feeling of treading. SOLUTION: This artificial turf 10 is equipped with a base fabric 12, a first pile 16 which is erected on the base fabric 12 and which is composed of a plurality of first filaments 14, and a second pile 20 which is erected on the base fabric 12 and which is composed of a plurality of second filaments 18 more tightly twisted than the first filaments 14. In the artificial turf, the first and second filaments 14 and 18 are twisted so that a person can feel softness like that of the natural turf when treading the artificial turf.
