<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize image processing utilizing pixel data stored in a memory such as cache processing from the standpoint of a memory consumed amount and a processing time. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel data storage initializing section 117 determines initialization of a pixel data storage section 104 (first initialization) so as to store a plurality of sets of data wherein integrated pixel data for integrating attribute and pixel data of an input multilevel image and processing finished pixel data resulting from applying color processing and gradation correction processing to the integrated pixel data are associated with each other or initialization of the pixel data storage section 104 (second initialization) so as to store the processing finished pixel data corresponding to all of the integrated pixel data depending on the available memory capacity and the image processing conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
