PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin polyurethane foam sealing material having low density, low compressive strain, low air permeability, water cut-off performance and economic efficiency that are not conventionally attained. SOLUTION: The thin low-density water cut-off polyurethane foam sealing material having open cells comprises a polyether-based polyol having <10 mol% mol ratio of ethylene oxide addition as a polyol, tolylene diisocyanate alone or the tolylene diisocyanate and an MDI (diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate)-based isocyanate having <10 mol% MDI-based isocyanate as an isocyanate compound, an organosilicone compound containing two reactive hydroxy groups and having 20-30% siloxane content as a foam stabilizer and water as a blowing agent. The low-density water cut-off polyurethane foam sealing material has≥5 cmAq water cut-off pressure for 24 water cut-off retaining time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
