PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse tube refrigerating machine for providing superior long-term stability. SOLUTION: A first cold storage device 1, a first pulse tube 3, and a buffer tank 25 are successively connected to a cold storage device side passage 14 for switching and communicating a discharge port and a suction port of a compressor 19 by a selector valve 12. The cold storage device side passage 14 and a base end part of the pulse tube 3 are communicated by a first passage 21. An end part of a second passage 23 for connecting the first pulse tube 3 and the buffer tank 25, is arranged inside a pulse tube 3 side end part of the first passage 21. The end part of this first passage 21 and an end part of the second passage 23 are made parallel. Since turbulence can be largely reduced when operating gas from the first passage 21 merges with operating gas from the second passage 23, even if a turbulence pattern in a confluent part of the operating gas changes by long-term operation, a flow rate from the first passage 21 and the second passage 23 flowing in the confluent part, is hardly changed.
