PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plate contributable to weight reduction of car parts, and a method for pressing the same. SOLUTION: In a low-specific gravity hot-dip aluminized steel plate, plating of Al concentration of, by mass,≥80% is performed on both sides of a steel plate containing Al of≥5% and≤11% with the coating thickness of≥50μm and≤200μm on each side. In a pressing method of the low-specific gravity hot-dip aluminized steel plate, the hot-dip aluminized steel plate with plating of Al concentration of≥80% performed on both sides of the steel plate containing Al of≥5% and≤20% Al with the coating thickness of≥50μm and≤250μm on each side is pressed at≥400°C and≤800°C.
