NOVEL VECTOR AND UTILIZATION OF THE SAME

It is intended to provide a tool for saving labor in transferring a gene in a host and expressing the same to give a protein. A vector characterized by carrying two cleavage recognition sequences, which have different base sequences, recognized by a first restriction enzyme, wherein one of the cleavage recognition sequences contains a part of a cleavage recognition sequences that is recognized by a second restriction enzyme different from t he first restriction enzyme, while the other cleavage recognition sequence has no part of the cleavage recognition sequences that is recognized by the second restriction enzyme as described above. A method of producing a protein and/o r a protein domain with the use of this vector.
