PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate discharge of bubbles in a common ink chamber to the outside. SOLUTION: The ink jet head has a channel unit provided with a submanifold 5a communicating with a nozzle and a pressure chamber through an ink supply opening 13a. A plurality of ink supply openings 13a are formed in a region on the upper surface of the submanifold 5a close to the opposite side ends of the submanifold 5a along the longitudinal direction.
