PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent diffusion of a coating solution for forming an organic thin film layer. SOLUTION: A liquid material diffusion prevention part 26 is formed ata region 31 outside of a color filter and an anode wiring of the farthest edge on a substrate 111 by colored layers 1A, 1B, 1C of the three primary colors (red, green, and blue), next, after forming a protective layer 4, an anode 101, and a cathode connection wiring 121, an insulation film 122 is formed on its upper layer, an opening part 123 is formed at a position to become a display pixel. After a separation wall 100 is formed, a solution of organic materials is applied on the upper layer of the insulation membrane 122, and diffusion of the solution is suppressed by the liquid material diffusion prevention part 26.
