PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cosmetic for providing the hair that is damaged, dry and liable to dry with gloss, setting properties, wiriness and a feeling of elasticity. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic comprises (A) an organic carboxylic acid or its salt, (B) a solvent selected from an aromatic alcohol, an N-alkylpyrrolidone, an alkylene carbonate, a polypropylene glycol, a lactone and a cyclic lactone and (C) an extract of eucalyptus with a polar solvent.
