PURPOSE: Provided are a jelly-roll type battery part preventing a short-circuit between electrode plates, a winding method thereof and a lithium secondary battery produced by using the jelly-roll type battery part. CONSTITUTION: The jelly-roll type battery part(40) contains: a first electrode plate(42) comprising a first electrode collector(47) bonding a first electrode lead(420) and a first electrode active material layer(48) coated on at least one side of the first electrode collector(47); a second electrode plate(41) comprising a second electrode collector(45) bonding a second electrode lead(410) and a second electrode active material layer(46) coated on at least one side of the second electrode collector(45); a separator(43) placed between the first electrode plate(42) and the second electrode plate(41). The jelly-roll type battery is formed by winding the first electrode plate(42), the separator(43), and the second electrode plate(41) in order and contains a protection electrode collector(450) capable of covering the first electrode lead(420), wherein the protection electrode collector(450) is formed on the preceding part of the first electrode collector(47) in the winding starting part(50) of the first electrode collector(47) of the first electrode plate(42) located in the most inner part. And the lithium secondary battery contains the jelly-roll type battery part, a can, and a cap assembly. |
