PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily ensure a state capable of imaging by quickly starting only an imaging function from a power off state, and to enable a communication function to be easily started from the state capable of imaging. SOLUTION: In the power off state (closed state) after a mobile phone 1 with a camera being closed, when a power on/off key 131 (shared with a manner key) for activating a camera mode is depressed, electric power is supplied on all over the circuit except a radio unit 121 from a power supply 134 by a power control unit 135. Then an imaging device 130, a DSP 129, and a sub display unit 116 are activated, and the taken images are indicated in real time thoroughly on the sub display 116. Then the images at the time point are picked up and stored in a RAM 124 when a shutter key 132 (shared with a memo key) which is disposed at a side portion of the main body is depressed.
