<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container which prevents the buckling deformation of a cap when putting the cap on the container and has a superior tamper evidence function. <P>SOLUTION: The container comprises a neck 24 and a mouth 21a on which the cap 1 is fitted. A bulged stepped part 23, on which a TE ring 9 is locked upon opening the cap 1, is formed on the mouth 21a, and a protruding part 25, protruding outward, is formed to extend from the lower surface 23a of the bulged stepped part 23 to the neck 24. The protruding part 25 increases the strength of the bulged stepped part 23, which prevents the buckling deformation of the bulged stepped part 23 due to a top weight applied to the cap 1 when it is fitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
