PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle group for a display device, with which uniformity of display image density is heightened, the display image density is only slightly varied, even if the display image is repeatedly rewritten over a long period of time and contrast of the density is stable, an image display device using the particle group for the display device, a picture forming device using the same and a method for manufacturing the particle group for the display device. SOLUTION: The particle group for the display device contains particles, having the property to be positively or negatively charged and colors and is characterized by having 1.5 % by mass or lower moisture percentage for the particles, the image display device and the image forming device use the particle group for the display device and the method for manufacturing the particles for the display device makes the moisture percentage of the particles for the display device be 1.5 % by mass or lower, by using a gas kinetic drier.
