PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to insert a washing brush into the insert portion of the lumen for an endoscope at the time of washing the endoscope. SOLUTION: A washing brush guide 100 attachable to and detachable from the open end portion of the suction cylinder 6 of the endoscope has a top opening 111, a first through hole 113 extending from the top opening 111 to a bottom opening 111a, and a slide type lid 102 which can open and close the top opening 111 which can respectively insert and draw out the front end joint portion 131 of a washing hose 139. In the first through hole 113, a brush guide groove 120 inclinedly extending from the rim portion of the top opening 111 to a bottom portion 104 by recessing a portion of a peripheral surface is formed. The brush guide groove 120 is formed such that an opening sufficient to insert the washing brush 32 into the upper portion 128 of the guide groove 120 is left when the lid 102 close the top opening 111.
