PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide trousers for a child so designed as to enable a parent to hold a child at any time when necessary while keeping her (his) both hands free, and not to spoil fashionability of the parent and the child. SOLUTION: The trousers for a child 1 has the following structure: a reinforcing cloth 6 is sewn on the inside of a pocket 3 of a back body part; a pair of shoulder belts 7 are sewn thereon in the vicinity of right and left upper part fasteners 4a; one plastic buckle 8a is attached to the tip part of the belt; a crotch cloth 9 is sewn on a part in the vicinity of a lower part fastener 4b; the center part of a waist belt 10 is sewn on the tip of the crotch cloth; the one plastic buckle 8a and the other plastic buckle 8b are attached to both ends of the waist belt 10 respectively; and the other plastic buckles 8b are respectively attached to two portions to which one plastic buckle 8a attached to the tip of each of the pair of shoulder belts 7 is joined when the crotch cloth 9 is passed through the inside leg of the child to put the waist belt 10 on the parent's waist.
