PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for connecting a mobile phone terminal and a peripheral device are provided to increase usability of the mobile phone terminal and the peripheral device by connecting them through a common cable so as to make it possible to transmit and receive data freely between them. CONSTITUTION: An input/output terminal connection part(210) is installed at a peripheral device(200) and has the same standard as an input/output terminal connection part(110) of a mobile phone terminal(100). A connection cable(300) at its both sides has connection parts(310,320) having the same standard so as to connect the mobile phone terminal to the input/output terminal connection part of the peripheral device.
