<p>The chair for a motor vehicle comprises a seat (12) and a back (14) connected to the seat along a rotary axis (16) for its rotation to adjust its angle of inclination. A lock device (52) is provided with a first constituent (54) arranged in the chair seat. A further component (46,48) in the chair back can prevent or permit rotation around the rotary axis.
