摘要 PURPOSE: A DNA hybridization chamber for a micro array chip is provided, thereby minimizing the amount of hybridization solution employed by forming micrometer-sized chambers and channels using MEMS technique, reducing the costs by limiting the use of expensive hybridization solution, and reducing errors by using specifically designed solution introducing hole and channels. CONSTITUTION: The DNA hybridization chamber(50) for a micro array chip is attachable on the surface of a substrate of the micro array chip on which DNA is spotted, and comprises an introducing hole(26) through which a DNA hybridization solution is introduced; a first moving channel(22) which is communicated with the introducing hole(26) and has micrometer-sized height to move the introduced solution; a reaction chamber(20) which is communicated with the first moving channel(22), has the larger area than the DNA spotted area to cover the area and micrometer-sized height, and provides reaction of the introduced solution with the spotted DNA on the substrate; and a discharging hole(28) which is communicated with the reaction chamber(20) and discharges the air in the first moving channel(22) and the reaction chamber(20) when the solution is introduced.
