PURPOSE: Provided is a movable type automatic painting system(reciprocator) for use in a hull shell which consists of self-propelled scissors lift platform, to obtain uniform painting quality and improve work efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The movable type automatic painting system for a hull shell includes a Y-axis carrier structure(23) mounted on a carriage base frame and having a sliding frame, a C-axis rotation driving unit(24) rotating on the Y-axis carrier structure(23), Z-axis and X-axis carrier structures(21,28) installed on the C-axis rotation driving unit(24) to be perpendicular to each other, and a W-axis rotation unit(27) installed on the X-axis carrier structure(28) for controlling the rotation and the speed and having a spray gun(26) containing paint supplied from a paint tank and a spray painting unit.
