PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device for a vertical crushing machine which controls the device to become long and large vertically and is simple in structure. SOLUTION: A rotary disk 11 is supported to be rotatable around a vertical shaft. A first driving shaft 13 is rotated in a horizontal posture by a motor. The rotation of the first driving shaft 13 is converted into the rotation around the vertical shaft through a deceleration mechanism 14 to rotate a second driving shaft 15. A first gear 16 set on the second driving shaft 15 is engaged with a second gear 17 set on the rotary disk 11. In this way, the rotation of the second driving shaft 15 is directly transmitted to the rotary disk 11 to rotate the rotary disk 11.
