The securing device is for a pair including a crown-wheel (11) rotating about an axis (A1) and with teeth (13) and a sprocket (21) rotating about an axis (A2) perpendicular to that of the crown-wheel. There is a collar on the sprocket which is radially outside the teeth of the crown-wheel, which can come against the circumferential surface of the crown-wheel to act as a stop.
