PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser light source device which will not necessitate the provision of an optical element for changing the direction of laser light and capable of easily controlling the outgoing direction of the laser light irradiated by the light source device so as to be matched with the horizontal direction, for instance, and capable of preventing the returning of the laser light, irradiated from a semiconductor laser device, to the semiconductor laser device while being reflected by the optical element. SOLUTION: The laser light source device is provided with the semiconductor laser device, a lens and a wedge type optical element while the laser light irradiated out of the semiconductor laser device passes through the lens and the wedge type optical element sequentially, then, is irradiated to the outside of the device. The semiconductor laser device is installed so as to be deviated from the center axis of the lens, and, further, the laser light irradiated to the outside of the device is irradiated into a direction parallel to the center axis of the lens.
