PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet/infrared ray shielding film excellent in the shielding properties of ultraviolet rays and infrared rays, the transparency in a visible light region and processability of every kind, not becoming expensive from an aspect of production and causing no problem in disposal. SOLUTION: This ultraviolet/infrared ray shielding film 1 is constituted by providing at least an ultraviolet/infrared ray shielding layer 3 on a base material 2 comprising a polyolefinic soft film and the tensile modulus of elasticity of the base material 2 is 5,000 kg/cm<SP>2</SP>or below. Further, a primer layer 4 is provided between the base material 2 and the ultraviolet/infrared ray shielding layer 3 to enhance the adhesion of the base material 2 and the ultraviolet/infrared ray shielding layer 3. Furthermore, the base material 2 is constituted of a coextrusion film comprising at least two layers, and the tear strength, heat resistnance, durability and the like of the base material are enhanced.
