PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of aligning tip parts of stored papers in a paper storage part connected with a horizontal conveyance passage and supplying papers one by one to the conveyance passage. SOLUTION: This paper feeding device equipped with a tilting mechanism is provided with the conveyance passage 2 for conveying paper 1 in the horizontal direction, the paper storage part 3 connected with the conveyance passage 2 and storing the number of one or two or more papers 1, a paper feeding mechanism supplying the papers 1 stored in the paper storage part 3 one by one to the conveyance passage 2, and the tilting mechanism tilting in such a way that a rear end side in the direction of conveyance of the paper in the paper storage part 3 becomes higher than a tip side and aligning tip parts in the direction of conveyance of the papers 1 stored in the paper storage part 3. Consequently, even if papers having different sizes are mixed, the tip parts of papers are aligned and the papers are supplied to the conveyance passage one by one without damaging the paper and requiring human labor.
