Most motorcycles nowadays are equipped with a jiffy stand only requiring the use of an additional stand (1) when the machine has to be serviced. The stand (1) has a u-shaped base (2) with two vertical bars (4) extending from the front ends. Small wheels (5) at the front corners facilitate an easy moving of the motorcycle when the front or rear wheel is slightly lifted using the telescopic adjusting mechanism. The fork-shaped support elements (3) on top of the vertical bars (4) are fitted with locking units (7) in order to secure the machine when it is moved from a tilted into an upright position.
