<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operating characteristic of a ship by preventing a cooperative rotation of an output shaft when an input shaft is rotated in an idling manner, preventing an occurrence of thrust force applied to a hull, stabilizing the number of rotation of the output shaft under a control of slip and further preventing a hunting phenomenon from being generated at the hull. <P>SOLUTION: This marine propulsive device 1 comprises a turning cylinder 11 rotatably arranged; an input shaft 2 inserted into the turning cylinder 11, an output shaft 3 extending in the same direction as an axial direction of the input shaft 2 and having a major driving bevel gear 6 fixed thereto, a power transmitting clutch 4 arranged between the input shaft 2 and the output shaft 3, a driving shaft 8 extending orthogonally to the output shaft 3 and cooperatively connected to the output shaft 3, a propulsive shaft 10 extending orthogonally to the driving shaft 8 and cooperatively connected to the driving shaft 8, and propulsive vanes 12 arranged at the end part of the propulsive shaft 10. There is provided a base load clutch 5 arranged at the output shaft 3 in such a way that it can be fitted to or removed from it and for applying a resistance against the output shaft 3 under its fitted state and applying a light load to it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
