PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid fuel combustion equipment for reducing the burden of a user by dispensing with complex residual oil sampling operation when performing dry-firing cleaning. SOLUTION: The liquid fuel combustion equipment comprises an oil transfer pump 15 for feeding out a liquid fuel; a vaporizer 16 for vaporizing the fed liquid fuel by a vaporizer heater 23 for jetting out to a burner side by a nozzle 24; an opening/closing means 26 for opening/closing the nozzle of the vaporizer 16; and a control section 40 for controlling the drive of the oil transfer pump, the vaporizer heater, and the drive of the opening/closing means. The control section heats and controls the vaporizer heater 23 at a higher temperature than a normal combustion temperature while the oil transfer pump 15 stops in a baking cleaning operation mode for removing impurities in the vaporizer. At this time, the vaporizer heater 23 is heated and controlled while the oil transfer pump stops, which is different from before, so that the liquid fuel is not fed to the vaporizer side, and vaporized gas in the vaporizer does not return to the side of an oil supply tank, thus performing dry-firing cleaning operation regardless of the presence or absence of the oil supply tank.
