PURPOSE: A cellular phone capable of supplying an uninterruptible power when a battery is changed and a battery pack thereof are provided to simultaneously mount a used battery pack and a buffered battery pack by combining the two battery packs in sliding way, thereby replacing the battery pack without powering off the cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A battery mounting groove(10) is open to both side directions on a rear side of a cellular phone. Slide contact terminals(12) are formed in side slide direction on a contacted surface of the battery mounting groove(10). Other contact terminals(21) are formed on the battery pack(20) by corresponding to the slide contact terminals(12). Guide grooves(13) are formed at inner edges of the battery mounting groove(10), while guide projections(22) are configured at upper/lower edges of the battery pack(20).
