PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier, reducing the power consumption. SOLUTION: This humidifier 1 includes: a body 2 having an air suction port 7 and a blowout port 9; a blowing fan 15 provided in the body 2; a water supply tank 3 removably mounted on the body 2; a tray 4 removably mounted on the body 2 to receive water supplied from the water supply tank 3 and store the water; and a water absorbing filter 52 provided to be soaked with water in the tray 4, wherein the water absorbing filter 52 is disposed in the midway of a blowing passage formed extending from the suction port 7 to the blowout port 9 in the body 2.
