The structure has a reinforcing unit (10) extending between a rear cross unit (5) and a front cross unit (2) of a roof. A central part of the reinforcement unit is formed by a longitudinal profile. The reinforcement unit is connected to the front cross unit and to the rear cross unit at two points. Two roof side rails (4, 4) connect a transversal end of the front cross unit to corresponding end of the rear cross unit.
