PURPOSE: A wireless transceiver and a method for transmitting and receiving are provided to transmit great quantities of data at the same time while maintaining signal transmission characteristics of an existing wireless transceiver. CONSTITUTION: A wireless transmission unit(20) includes an analog to digital converter(21) for converting analog signals to digital data, a data compression unit(22) for compressing digital data into 1/n times, a baseband unit(23) for processing compressed data and transmitting the data of log2¬mMb per second, and an RF transmitter(24) for modulating the data of log2¬mMb per second and transmitting the modulated data of log2¬mMb per second in a bandwidth of 1MHz. An wireless reception unit(30) includes an RF receiver(34) for demodulating the date of the data of log2¬mMb per second and outputting the demodulated data of log2¬mMb per second, a baseband unit(33) for generating the compressed data of log2¬mMb per second, a data recovery unit(32) for regenerating the data of log2¬mMb per second to n times, and a digital to analog converter(31) for converting the data of log2¬mMb per second to the analog signals.
