<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the recognition rate of a non-contact IC tag attached to an object stored in a storage cabinet with a door while minimizing the cost; to automatically recognize what document is stored in the cabinet at a desired time without manpower even if documents are often removed therefrom or put therein; and to identify a person who opens/closes the cabinet and semiautomatically manage who removes/puts the object. <P>SOLUTION: In the cabinet, the non-IC tag storing information on the stored object is attached to the object to oppose a back face of the door of the cabinet. A recognition antenna for the inside of the cabinet is attached to the back face of the door of the cabinet can read the IC tag information, therefore the recognition rate is improved. Also, the production cost and installation cost can be reduced, and the storage state is automatically recognized.
