PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warp knit spacer fabric composed of a pair of oppositely placed base cloths and a yarn connecting the cloths, having suitable shock-absorbing property and elasticity and good designing flexibility. SOLUTION: The warp knit fabric having highly fashionable texture is produced by using a base cloth having a plain part and a mesh part as at least one of the base cloths and forming a pattern with multiple kinds of yarns to form 2 kinds and/or 2 colors of patterns effectively combined at the plain part and the mesh part of at least one of the base cloths. A distinct pattern of the warp knit fabric can be formed by escaping the pattern-constituting pattern yarn to the reverse side of the expression base cloth or hiding between both base cloths.
