PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resolver signal processor that can reliably detect the shut-off of a path for connecting a resolver and a drive circuit for driving the resolver during backup, and can reduce power consumption during backup. SOLUTION: The resolver signal processor has a backup circuit 2 that is connected to a resolver 120, is operated by receiving the supply of power from a backup power supply 21 when the supply of power from a main power supply 25 is being shut off, and senses and stores the amount of relative rotation in first coils 121A, 121B, and a second coil 122 generated while receiving the supply of power from the backup power supply 21, based on a sensing signal sensed by the second coil 122. The backup circuit 2 has a disconnection sensing circuit 11 for sensing the presence or absence of the shut-off of the connection path between the resolver 120 and the backup circuit 2, based on a sensing signal.
