PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correcting function-imparted sock solving such a problem that deformation in the sideway arch so-called "flat foot" due to slack in the metatarsal ligament results in making it impossible to disperse impact and thereby not only making a wearer become hard to stably walk but also having such an adverse influence as hallux valgus, stiffness in the whole body, or backache on the wearer. SOLUTION: The correcting function-imparted sock 1 has the following structure: a sole part 11 corresponding to the metatarsal ligament 9 and parts coming in contact with both side parts 13, 13 of the sole part comprise elastic material (a first elastic area 3); a part coming in contact with an instep part 15 corresponding to the metatarsal ligament 9 comprises material more elastic than the elastic member. In the sock when worn, both base end parts 14, 14 of the metatarsal ligament 9 are tightened in such a direction as to come close to each other, but the part ranging from the instep part 15 to the sole part 11 is not tightened so as to well recover the metatarsal ligament 9 into a desired sideway arch.
