<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat-sensitive recording medium which is free from decrease of coloring density and occurrence of blow marks on the recording medium even by repetitive use, further free from sticking of tailings to a thermal head and furthermore excellent in light fastness. <P>SOLUTION: For the reversible heat-sensitive recording medium comprising a base material, a reversible heat-sensitive recording layer which is formed on the base material contains an electron donative coloring compound and an electron receptive compound and develops color and vanish color according to a difference of a heating temperature and/or a cooling speed after the heating and a protective layer formed on the recording layer, the protective layer contains inorganic fine particles of ≥10 nm and ≤70 nm in an average particle size and an ultraviolet absorbing polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
