PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify presence information according to the other parties for a community and users belonging to the community, and to notify and recognize only the optimal presence information at the time of designating different presence information to the same user. SOLUTION: A client designates a priority as the destination of transmission for a specific community and specific users belonging to the community, and generates presence information including the priority information by specifying presence for the specific user. A notification server decides the community managed by itself as for the presence information, and decides the user managed by itself as for the presence information pertinent to the community managed by itself, and extracts the presence information whose priority is high from the presence information to the user managed by itself based on the priority information, and notifies the presence information.
