PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long tape winding reel having reduced weight and sufficient rigidity even if made larger, without causing deformation of a reel side plate at its end to the outside in the cross direction, giving winding dislocation to an electronic part mounting film carrier tape as well as a spacer film tape when wound up or off, and breaking or damaging the electronic part mounting film carrier tape. SOLUTION: The long tape winding reel comprises a winding shaft part for winding a long tape, an approximately disc-like guide side plate part extending to both ends of the winding shaft part, and a metal reinforcing material embedded in the guide side plate part in a range from the center toward the outer periphery.
