<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is required to prepare an object of a size matching the intention of a provider of a BIFS source in the case that a still picture and a moving picture are embedded to a scene by utilizing the BIFS source and tools or the like that are provided. <P>SOLUTION: A flowchart for explaining the operations of an MPEG-4 data generating apparatus includes: a step S504 of acquiring URL information 412 of the entity of the object on the basis of a scene description for encoding the scene; a step S505 of reading the entity of the object referenced on the basis of the acquired URL information 412; a step S506 of extracting size information 413 on the basis of the entity of the read object; and a step S508 of revising the size of an object 414 to be referenced and different from the scene description on the basis of the extracted size information 413. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
